Referral Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Multilingual Talents processes personal data in the Referral Partner Program. It supplements the website Privacy Policy.
Data we collect
For referrers we process account and contact details, preferred language, referral activity, PayPal email, payment records and program audit logs. For referred candidates we process identity and contact details, the selected vacancy, CV, recruitment status, referral source, consent confirmation and related recruitment records.
Why we use the data
We use the data to operate accounts, attribute referrals, recruit candidates, prevent duplicates and fraud, verify the 90-day qualification requirement, communicate program updates, process approved PayPal bonuses, keep accounting/audit records and comply with applicable obligations.
Legal bases
Depending on the processing, legal bases may include consent, steps requested before or under the referral terms, legitimate interests in recruitment administration and fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Candidate information must not be submitted without the candidate’s permission.
Who receives data
Access is limited to authorized Multilingual Talents personnel and service providers needed for hosting, email, recruitment administration and payment processing. PayPal receives payment information when a payout is made. We do not sell referral or candidate personal data.
Retention
We keep referral and recruitment data only as long as reasonably necessary for recruitment, referral disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations and enforcement of the program terms. Records are deleted or anonymized when they are no longer needed, subject to legal retention requirements.
Security
We use access controls, role separation, audit logging, validation and restricted CV storage. Referrers can see only their own referral records; internal recruitment notes are not shown to referrers.
Your rights
Where applicable, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Rights can be limited where retention is required by law or necessary to establish or defend claims.
International processing
Some service providers may process data outside the individual’s country. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards are used under applicable data-protection law.
