Ask for fixed gross annual pay and the payment schedule. Keep performance bonuses, commissions and one-off relocation benefits separate so you can compare the guaranteed part of two offers. Add rent, utilities, commuting and initial deposits to your own budget.

For relocation assistance, confirm what is covered, when it is paid, how long any accommodation lasts and whether repayment conditions apply. Ask about shifts, training location and the expected start date. Do not rely on a salary range from a different role or country.
