This is a planning tool, not tax, legal or immigration advice. Verify tax, work-authorisation and employment terms with official sources and the employer.
What this calculator compares
The tool compares estimated monthly living costs, monthly money remaining after those costs, upfront cash needed before the first salary, and a simple first-year projection. It does not estimate tax. Use the net-pay figure supplied by the employer or an official tax calculator for the country involved.
Use realistic relocation numbers
Include deposits, temporary accommodation, travel, local transport, food, utilities and other recurring costs. Enter employer relocation support only when it is confirmed in writing, and check whether it is paid upfront or reimbursed after you start.
Do not compare salary alone
A higher salary can still produce less disposable income when rent, transport or one-time moving costs are substantially higher. Contract quality, working hours, probation, career value, location and work-authorisation requirements also matter and are not reduced to a single score here.

Frequently asked questions
Does the calculator estimate income tax?
No. Tax depends on country and personal circumstances. Enter a realistic monthly net salary from the employer or an official country-specific calculator.
Are my figures saved?
No. Calculations run locally in your browser. The tool does not submit your salary or cost figures to Multilingual Talents.
What should I include as relocation costs?
Typical one-time costs can include travel, deposits, temporary housing, local registration expenses and initial setup costs. Only count costs that actually apply to your move.
